ISTRICT 1SR DIVISION 7 held a search and rescue exercise on 15

July2017, from 0800 to 1350. The SAREX Coordinator was Robert

Heinemann VDCDR and the Incident Commander was Robert Talley.

The Incident Command Base was established at the Norwalk Flotilla 07-02 location, and satellite command bases were established at Mamaroneck Flotilla 07-07 and Fairfield Flotilla 07-07. All communications were coordinated via Norwalk Radio, Mamaroneck Radio, and Fairfield Radio.

Participating units included Station Eatons Neck, Station Kings Point, Flotillas 07-01 (Port Chester), 07-02 (Norwalk), 07-05 (Mamaroneck), 07-07 (Fairfield), 07-08 (Cos Cob), plus Mamaroneck Police EMS.

Surface facilities were from Norwalk COGA II, Bridgeport Nev-R-Dun IV, Mamaroneck Hepatocyte, Mamaroneck What A World, Fairfield Semper Paratus, and Coast Guard Station Kings Point.

Participating resources also included air facilities Cessna 150 and Beech Twin Baron.
