Flotilla 15-09 views these dinners as “signature events”, one they look forward to each year. These events also serve as an opportunity for the cadets to hear about and see the Auxiliary in action. Dinners now consist of world famous Brooks BBQ chicken, baked potatoes, salads, rolls, drinks and a large assortment of desserts. No cadet goes home hungry!

On September 9, 2017, both a beautiful early autumn day and Division 15 greeted the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Football Team and staff as they squared off at Union College in Schenectady, New York, in a non-conference game, losing 28-13.

Division 15 attended the game promoting the Auxiliary and its missions and also continued the tradition started by Flotilla 15-09 by hosting the Academy, its staff and parents and friends for a dinner at the conclusion of the game, where upwards of 130 individual meals were served.

We of Division 15 are always proud to serve the cadets and staff of the Academy, and look forward to supporting then as Coast Guard Officers.

The staff of Union College could not have been more helpful and gracious in allowing us the use of their facility to host this event, and a special thank you needs to go out to 15-09 Auxiliarist Keith Munro who works at Union College, for going above and beyond in doing all that was necessary to see that this event came off without a hitch.

Auxiliarists in attendance:

15-09: Paul Berger, Ellen Brown, John Hinds, Keith Munro, Dan Spencer, Ron Volungus, Michael West, Chuck Zariello

15-04: Richard Gabriels, Christopher Hoffman, Lisa Kalin, Scott Kuhn, Terry Tremblay

15-08: Scot Zaremba-Woodward

15-10: Charlie Pound, Gary Slusher

Bravo Zulu Division 15.
