HE USCG Auxiliary Food Service

Program (AUXFS) mission is to support any Coast Guard, Sector, Station, or Coast Guard Cutter event. Qualified AUXFS Specialist may plan and prepare meals and shopping lists in supporting any large scale event or training. AUXFS duty on a CG Cutter can be a rewarding and exhausting experience.

DSO-FS John Gallagher, D1SR and CSC Dean M. Berkovics, Station Sandy Hook, NJ agreed for AUXFS trainees to participate in a two-day training session 1-2 July at their facility and supporting the USCG members assigned to Station Sandy Hook, NJ. We had five AUXFS trainee members to participate in becoming AUXFS Specialist from D1SR Divisions 14-02, (Sandy Hook), 14-04 (Raritan), 14-05 (NYC) 14-10 (Lower Hudson) and Sector Delaware Bay 53-16. The AUXFS trainees were:
