This was followed by further testing by the RDC at Coast Guard Station Eatons Neck (on Long Island's north shore) with support from 1SR Divisions 1, 13 and 22. On 1 May, four Auxilarists helped the RDC set up and initially test its equipment. John Traganos DCDR 22 and Mark Stone DCDR 01 were on the beach. They helped RDC personnel set up its testing and communications equipment, then remained ashore to later observe and evaluate the signals. Joe Dirocca DCDR 13) was aboard one of the two Coast Guard vessels, and Peg Hart (Division 1 and ADSO-MS) was aboard the other, to assist the RDC set up its communications and light signal emitting equipment.
