Robert Hampson Tabs for kids

The Robert Hampson tabs for kids fund was started by Robert Hampson, a young man from Toronto who at the age of 4 was diagnosed with Brain cancer. He survived his battle with cancer but was left blind after his operation. Despite Robert's complications, he began collecting popcan tabs and took them to a recycling depot to sell. The profit he made from selling the popcan tabs was donated to the "President's Choice Children's charity". The President's Choice children's charity used the money donated to them to help Canadian families buying wheelchairs for their children in need.
