Dr. Donald Stenta Director of Student Life and Recreational Sports, Ohio State University Summit Series Session: Why Blame the Climbing Walls? and From the Director’s Lens Dr. Donald Stenta has been at the Ohio State University for nearly 25 years in higher education and student affairs roles. He serves as the Director of Student Life Recreational Sports and as a lecturer with the John Glenn College of Public Affairs, where he teaches leadership and public policy. Don has been a long-time member of ACPA: College Student Educators International, and NASPA: Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for NIRSA: Leaders in Collegiate Recreation. He has presented extensively at these organizations’ state, regional, national, and international conventions. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University, master’s degree from the University of Vermont, and Ph,D. from the Ohio State University. “Aha” career realization: Being able to help students with their developmental experiences throughout their careers.
