The Cardiac Surgery Program at Baylor Heart and Vascular Services at Dallas continues to reach new heights in diagnostics , treatment and prevention . Coronary artery bypass ( CABG ) surgery represents the highest volume of procedures performed at Baylor University Medical Center . In fact , the hospital ’ s cardiac surgery program was ranked in the top ten percent in the nation by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons ( STS ) for fiscal year 2016 . STS recognized Baylor Dallas with a three-star rating , the highest awarded , for the fourth consecutive year for isolated CABG .
