Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital is
a recipient of the ACTION Registry® – GWTG™
Platinum Performance Achievement Award. The
award recognizes premier participating hospitals that have
sustained performance measure score composites of 90 percent or
better in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction patients.

which is benchmarked nationally against
approximately 1,800 hospitals. The continued excellence in

good performance levels and trends evaluated against industry

2016 Mission: Lifeline® Silver Plus
Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital
achieved Silver Plus-status in Mission: Lifeline®,
an American Heart Association program. The
program helps provide prompt, evidence-based
care for heart attack patients starting with
the 911 call through arrival at the emergency department to
restoring blood flow to the heart. Receiving hospitals earn Silver
Plus recognition for achieving 85 percent or higher composite
adherence to all Mission Lifeline STEMI Receiving Center
quality achievement indicators for consecutive 12-month
intervals and 75 percent or higher compliance on all Mission
Lifeline STEMI Receiving Center quality measures to improve
the quality of care for STEMI patients. The “Plus” refers to at
least 75 percent of the STEMI patients who were transferred
had a First-Door-to-Device time of 120 minutes or less.
