to try something different so I wanted to write more punk. Matt and I wrote two songs together for an EP and submitted them for a project” With the momentum from their songwriting, Matt and Tim turned to craigslist to find the rest of their band. And oddly enough, the lineup was born. Even more so, luckily, thanks to Craigslist, it all worked out.

“Yes the band is called Timisarocker, but it’s not about me. I love all these guys. So much. We’re all a different part. “ Members bring their own spirit and personality to the band. Tim is the punk rocker, often full of energy, dancing all over stage. We have Matt, the metal head, the killer guitar player with great rhythm (but still head bobs off beat). Dylan listens to rockabilly and a broad array of others artists, slays on bass, and is a barrel full of knowledge. Lastly there is Bryan, the jazz lover, who plays clean and professional. He’s the serious businessman and most photogenic of the group or in Tim’s terms, the sex appeal. They all have that spark and flare that add to the dynamics of the band and that’s what makes them unique.

As a whole they embody all the likes and differences, within the band into their music. “I (Tim) bring Gospel twang and r&b runs as voice. [Bryan] Oby plays his jazz fill in our rock song. Dylan will create a bass riff inspired from mix meter metal and Matt will put in a guitar from metal influence. It’s a clusterfuck and it works.” With these influences and creations, they don’t define a genre they define themselves, Timisarocker. “We all collab and work together on our songs and that’s what makes us good.”

Now that you know more about the band you should also know Timisarocker has been playing shows in the Twin Cities for months now. Venues under their belt are places like Triple Rock, Cabooze, 7th Street Entry, and Honey. “Our crowds have been growing… (People will get excited for our songs) and the whole band will go crazy”

As far as the bands future together, I think the end is far from near. Their crazy antics and personal sound will keep people begging for more. And they have no intention of losing their momentum. “ Me (Tim), Matt and Dylan made an agreement this is never ending. We never want it to end. It’s been great. We love this band so much.”
