Upcycling a photo frame
Stir your paint or shake the can. Give your frame one coat of paint, painting top and sides. I didn’t paint the back of the frame as this was not painted originally and looked quite good. Check for paint drips, then place the frame on something to keep it off the paper while drying.
Once you are happy with your painting efforts, grab you sanding paper, sand as needed to give a shabby chic look. Keep in mind that there is no right or wrong way to achieve this look.
Give your frame another wipe to remove the sanding dust. Place your family picture, or anniversary momento in the frame and display it where people can admire your handy work and congratulate yourself on a job well done.
