Do you currently enjoy a hobby or craft, or are you thinking of taking one up?

If so, did you know that you might receive some very real health benefits if you do?

My personal craft of choice is making glass-dome jewellery. I love searching for eye-catching designs and vibrant colours. This is also a very “doable” craft, and one I’ve taught others, as the process can be followed step-by- step, is reasonably quick, and the results very satisfying. It also allows me to have jewellery that I can match with my (rather expansive) wardrobe! I was demonstrating how to construct a bracelet to someone who commented that she was never any good at crafts. The finished work was a very attractive piece of jewellery that she was absolutely delighted with. This is an exciting outcome; from that, confidence can only grow.

What you choose to do might be challenging, require problem-solving, might even be frustrating at times, but consider what those Crafty Crafters have probably known all along: Crafting can be good for your emotional health and well-being – good reasons to give it a try, don’t you agree?

My Heley-Bee Jewellery range consists of designs and colours that I’ve personally selected to create something bold and eye-catching. Colour affects mood, so if you choose your wardrobe based on what makes you feel good, then choose your accessories the same way. Be daring, classic or fun…go on, make a statement!

My jewellery can be seen on my Facebook page.
