Soon after the Tracy Reese Label, the Plenty Label was launched featuring the same feminine, brightly colored, retro/bohemian styles Ms. Reese was known for, but offered with a more affordable price.

Tracy was inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CDFA) in 2007. You might think in the glamorous and competitive world of high fashion as a self-made business professional, she’d be busy spending her spare time traveling the world and enjoying the fruits of her labor. On the contrary, Ms. Reese as a board member of the CDFA works in partnership with the New York City AIDS Fund and is a passionate advocate and leader in helping to not only support but also develop vital HIV/AIDS programs in many areas of New York where it is needed most. She uses her “star power” to help carry on the longtime commitment of the fashion industry’s initiative to meet the changing demands for the care and preventions of HIV/AIDS. Tracy is quoted in reference to her early years in the fashion industry as saying, “In those early years, dear friends and colleagues were falling all around me, it was devastating. Many of us would get together to do the AIDS Walk and raise money, but I always wished I could do more.” More than two decades later she is doing just that…and more.
