Q. How long have you been together?
A. I have been with my boyfriend for
4 years.
Q. Why did you decide to try online dating?
A. I'm not sure if I really decided to online date with my boyfriend..it just ended up that way. He pursued me for 3 years online, and one day, decided to send a plane ticket to me for my birthday and I took the chance; after he gave my best friend his social security number and all of his contact info.
Q. Where there any fears about meeting each other in person?
A. I think I was more scared of flying on the plane than meeting him.
Q. How did you decide, as a couple which of you would relocate?
A. He decided to move on his own since we were expecting.
Q. What would you say about the negative aspects about online dating?
A. For me, the only negative aspect are those who pretend to be someone or something they are not. If you decide to online date, take all the time you need to feel comfortable with the person, and there is NOTHING wrong with a background check. If they are sincere, they will see you are worth the wait.
