Charlotte Mullich is an award-winning artist living in Santa Clarita. Her
watercolor paintings explore color and movement. and are influenced
by the works of Georgia O'Keeffe and Jackson Pollack. Charlotte grew
up in New York where her love of the seasons and nature had its early
beginnings. Her love of art and paintings comes from her father, a
graphic artist.
Charlotte’s love of color and movement are reflected in her watercolor
paintings. She searches for the grace and strength and hope of the
Earth by taking a close-up look at nature. Her paintings highlight the
elegance of nature, especially the changes of the seasons of nature,
the colors, shapes, and fleeting moments of time. In a world of
technology, her paintings give a moment to slow down and enjoy the
beauty, colors and flowers found in her own backyard.
In her continuing collection, Seasons, Charlotte captures the experience
of the changes seasons-- oranges, reds and golden colors of autumn,
the playfulness of jumping in the leaves from childhood, birch trees that
bring back memories of growing up on the East Coast and winter's red
holly berries in the backyard. Summertime memories of chili peppers
from the garden that dance, a flower bouquet from a loving memory or
the cactus flower that bloom in the desert of California.
Charlotte Mullich is a member of the Los Angeles Art Association and
