HAPPY 30TH SANTA CLARITA!
The Miranda Family moved here 35 years ago and the changes from then to now simply make us go “WOW!” When we
arrived there were few shopping opportunities, a handful of good restaurants and virtually no entertainment places. Now
most of us do almost all our shopping here and have really good choices of restaurants and places for entertainment. We
are blessed to be part of this vibrant city and blessed to have such an outstandingly competent city manager, city staff
and city employees. Viva Santa Clarita!
BE RESPONSIBLE AND BE SAFE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
The joy of the holiday season can often be intoxicating (pun intended) to us all. We get caught up in celebrations and
sometimes forget some basics of life. Let’s remind ourselves of some of them. Don’t drink and drive! Obvious right? Not
so obvious when we continue to see tragic accidents on the road during the holiday season. DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE!
Another basic fact is not to take advantage of co-workers in the workplace. This goes especially to men. Just because a
co-worker smiles and makes nice with you doesn’t mean it’s an invitation to your advances. Keep your hands to yourself,
choose your words carefully and give your eyes a rest.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Whether you’re a spiritual person or not, this is the season to seek joy and happiness as much as possible. Start with
your inner self. What’s right about you? Cherish it and build upon it for a better life. What’s in need of change? Seek
guidance. Seek help. Commit to making the change and then do it. Life is so much better when we’re at peace with
ourselves.
