A love note from the Editor
My Beloved,
Spring ushers in a spirit of light, newness, growth, rebirth and transformation! Thus the term spring cleaning. Spring is also the time when we take the opportunity to clean our homes, thus term spring cleaning! Well spring cleaning doesn't just apply to our homes! It also applies to our heart, spirit, soul, and mind. Spring cleaning ourselves requires the extremely tough task of facing our-ish! When we face our -ish we stare our pains, sorrows, fears and imperfections in the face. Ouch, that hurts! And even though it's a painful and necessary process, it's all apart of growth, rebirth and transformation to becoming who we are authentically created to be. Think of it this way, in order for a caterpillar to become the beautiful butterfly it also has to go through the process of metamorphosis in a tightly wrapped cocoon. In order for a flower to experience full bloom it has to be planted in the dirt and watered before it reaches its potential. You and I are no different! In order to become authentic to who we are, we too must experience a metamorphosis of some sort. We must be planted and watered, We must be tried and proven by fire until we come forth as pure gold! We must face our -ish! Now of course facing our-ish, requires courage, which by the way is the spring issue's word to love by, with courage comes vulnerability! With vulnerability comes authenticity! And with authenticity comes strength. My Beloved, it's no time like the present! It's time to spring forth into action, spring clean ourselves and embody the courage to become all that we were created to be!
