JOHN’S TOP TIP
There’s a jumble sale in
St Peter’s church, 14 April.
When dog owners are walking
their pooches in St Peter’s Square
Gardens, they should murmur a
few words of thanks to the St Peter’s
Residents’ Association, which
provides the dog poo bags.
Yes, it’s thanks to the committee’s
efforts that 49 dog owners are able
to make use of the bags every day to
clean up after their pets – a rise from
the 41 bags used per day in 2017.
The assoc iation recently invested
£700 in buying a year’s worth of
little black bags… all 18,000 of them!
