to put by the road, posted pictures
on Facebook inviting visitors and
started a guestbook. There have
been many private tours, two
charity raising tours and wedding
pictures. So many wonderful
people have brightened my day.
I found an unexpected gift after
one tour, someone had put their
necklace around a tree. Strangers
and friends have returned with
thank you cards and brought
friends and items for my themed
gardens.
People ask how I take care of
so many gardens. I love being
outside and can’t sit still so I
focus on one garden or part of
a garden then appreciate what I
accomplished, which keeps me
from getting overwhelmed by all
that needs to be done. They are
my Zen place, my gym, and my
psychiatrist. They give me such
peace, joy and connection with
nature, but most of all human
connection through visitors. So
