CENTRAL AROOSTOOK COUNTY:
Beautiful All Year
Although Central Aroostook is the most northerly
part of the contiguous United States we are open year
round!!!
The area is well known for its snowmobile trails
which provide 2,300 miles of connected trails. The trails
are well marked and maintained by volunteer members
of many clubs. The club members enjoy the sport and want
others to share in the open
spaces and miles of groomed
trails that are available.
Snowmobile registrations
can be purchased online for
the season. Total registration
fee of $100 for non-residents.
The Chambers, Maine Tourism Centers and many businesses in Aroostook County have detailed trail maps
available. If you want to plan your trip before you arrive,
just contact Aroostook County Tourism or any Chamber
of Commerce and we will send you information to make
your planning very easy.
