Providing Life-Sustaining Treatment

When people suffer from kidney disease, either as
a result of diabetes, high blood pressure or some
other medical condition, dialysis treatment can be
a life-sustaining treatment. While dialysis does
not cure the disease, it does enable people to live
many years after their kidneys no longer function.
TAMC offers the only dialysis treatment available
in the region through its County Dialysis Center,
located in the North Street Health Plaza in
Presque Isle.
“We have a special relationship with our patients,
since we see them several times a week, usually
for a period of years,” said Pamela Frank, manager
