at The Inn of Acadia

The Voyageur Lounge is unique in that it is located
on the third floor of the Inn of Acadia, which
overlooks the town of Madawaska as well
as neighboring Edmunston, N.B.
Canada. Guest and patrons get
to enjoy a comfortable and
relaxing setting, receive great
service and enjoy awesome
freshly prepared food.
When the Inn of Acadia opened in
2013, the Voyageur Lounge operated
as a full service bar. After six to seven
months of operation, feedback from the

patrons indicated that establishing food service
would be well received. Earlier this spring,
Owner Jonathan Roy, having no restaurant
experience, teamed up with Chef
Samantha Berry, former owner of
the Custom Cake Café in Fort
Kent. Together they finalized
a commercial kitchen as well
as a lunch and dinner menu
that have a little something for
everybody. Samantha oversees all
aspects of the Voyageur Lounge and has
put together a great team that believes in the
importance of top-notch customer service.
