Although now a little less green I realise that I have picked a much harder option. I have picked the 24/7 life style. However I’m happy to report its 24/7 doing what I love, working hard to create theatre with people from all walks of life. Creating theatre that has a meaning and a why. I truly believe there is no job in the industry that can give me what 3in1 Theatre can. I love it.” Writing, directing and producing theatre for audiences, communities, organisations and individuals. If you’ve got a story that needs to be told, we have the skills and experience to develop it into an exciting script and then transfer it from page to stage. We are based in East Lothian and operate all over Scotland. It all started in a little town called Dalkeith. I was a 3rd year drama and performance student studying community theatre, when I landed a fantastic opportunity to write, direct and produce a show to celebrate the opening of the new re-developed £3.8 million Dalkeith Corn Exchange. The show was called ‘Last Stop Dalkeith’ and it saw 24 Primary 6 pupils performing for 3 nights to an audience of approximately 120 people. www.midlothianadvertiser.co.uk/news/last-stop-dalkeith-for-pupils-1-4124288 Last Stop Dalkeith was an incredibly important point in the children’s development and for many was truly their proudest achievement to date. For me the show was a huge undertaking which saw me working over 60 hour weeks in the two weeks running up to the show. I was even involved in a car accident at the time which almost stopped the process. This experience showed me what hard work really was, and just how rewarding this type of work can be.
