9th hole
No 8: Par 3 – Mens: 170 m. Ladies: 136 m
No 10: Par 4 – Mens: 323 m. Ladies: 279 m
Eight is another par three, again uphill all the way so take enough
stick. Be careful of the huge bunker on the left hand side. The
green slopes right to left and is very quick from back to front.
Take note of the pin position to be sure you are below the hole.
The tenth is a dog leg to the right. Look for the middle of the
fairway with your drive off the tee. Bunkers and trees protect
the right hand side. Remember to take an extra club for the hill.
Be sure to check the wind direction as the highest green on the
course is very exposed with a bunker front left and gullies on
the right.
No 9: Par 4 – Mens: 364 m. Ladies: 358 m
The ninth is a lovely par four finish to the front nine (noting
that you are nowhere near the clubhouse after this hole – it’s
at the end of the tenth). OOB follows the hole all the way down
the left with heavy trees and hazards right. Bending gently left
you’ll need a longer iron to the green that is pear shaped with
the small bit at the front, sided by two Archies. A tier in the
middle of the green will provide more fun than a rollercoaster
if you are not on the right level.

No 11: Par 5 – Mens: 480 m. Ladies: 443 m
The eleventh is like the first. Water is in range on the right and
you’ve got trees on the left. You shouldn’t try to cut too much
off the dog leg right on your second shot or you’ll close your
target off too much. A creek runs up the left side of the fairway
to trap wayward second shots. This green is bunkered front and
right and also has very subtle breaks.
