From our Patron and Local Member
Rob Stokes – Minister for Education
Over the past 90 years Mona Vale Golf
Club has established a proud reputation as
a popular community facility in an iconic
location.
Throughout its history the Club has been
used for defence purposes during WWII,
held major golf tournaments, acted as
an environmental safeguard and hosted
countless celebrations, charitable and
social events.
Whilst its primary purpose might be golf –
the roles and functions the club performs
within our community are far more diverse.
I congratulate Mona Vale Golf Club on its
ongoing success.
• 17th fairway sees an estimated 55,000 rounds of
golf and 50,000 public users per year.
MVGC staff labour complemented contractors
through duration of project. MVGC member
volunteers planted over 12,000 new native plants.
