Hole 5
No 3: Par 5 – Mens: 458 m. Ladies: 443 m
The third is a tight par 5 that needs to be attacked left off the
tee as the ground falls to the right. The green is guarded by a
small pond on the left hand side. Very challenging 2nd shot due
to narrow entrance towards the green.
No 4: Par 4 – Mens: 336 m. Ladies: 300 m
The fourth is a shorter par four that only requires a fairway
wood or long iron off the tee – accuracy again required rather
than distance.
Hole 3
No 5: Par 5 – Mens: 505 m. Ladies: 385 m
Hole five is a long and challenging par 5 just on 510 metres
with a dog leg you’ll only have to worry about on your second
shot (as it’s too far away to concern your drive). If you can get a
drive safely away and bend your second with a favourable draw,
you’ll still need a fair iron into the green. The dance floor is tiny
for such a long hole so you’ll need to be spot on. Remember
that the front of the green runs steeply back to front so be up
at the pin.
Hole 4
No 6: Par 3 – Mens: 177 m. Ladies: 158 m
Six is a long par 3 well protected on both sides by bunkers. It’s
also open to the elements being set on the side of the hill so
take the wind into account. Depending on the wind I’m sure
there could be a wide range of clubs used on this hole. Can be
a very challenging par 3. It is a large tiered green so check the
pin placement before finally selecting your club.
