The last area of the exhibition offers a selection of
instruments from different continents around the
world.
Test your knowledge of geography with the large
world map located in this zone. Try to identify
where the instruments come from. And, look inside
this map: there are hidden messages about music.

It’s a round the world trip to see the huge cultural
diversity used in different regions around the planet:
a world of materials, construction techniques,
decorations, but different contexts, meanings and
beliefs as well.
This area is full of details where you cannot miss the
sitar from India, the erhu from China, the garamut (a slit
drum) from Papua New Guinea or the banjo from USA
and many others.
