I'm very proud of the work we do in this space because it allows us to promote engineering, promote the subject in universities and STEM subjects within secondary education.

It is our duty to go out there and showcase that Formula 1 is a great industry to work in, because if our industry doesn't have engineers coming through, we won't have an industry. We have ambassadors who promote our world and industry to primary level schooling, and then right through into universities. We also work with universities on several academies that we now have. We have the Williams Engineering Academy, which works with some of the top engineering universities in the UK. We then select a handful of students who come in and are put on a fast track program within Williams. We have apprenticeships within our team, student placement programs, as well as taster weeks, where big groups of 15-year olds spend a whole week across different areas of the business. This is something we take seriously.

It has been a great investment for us because we get wonderful talent that comes in an early age. They then stay with us because we give them their first job out of university, and they want to see that career journey stay at Williams.
