Through an integrated programme of academics, activities, outdoor education, personal and social education and service learning, each student is provided with multiple opportunities to develop the knowledge, qualities and skills that will enable them to create a better world. UWCSEA’s bespoke concept-based curriculum has been developed K-12 but is structured in such a way that students can join and thrive at any age. It incorporates the requirements of Reggio Emilia in the Infant years, and external High School external examinations in the IGCSE and IB Diploma in the High School. Both campuses are IB World schools with extensive and successful IB Diploma programmes. UWCSEA Dover was the first school in Asia to offer the IB Diploma Programme, in 1977.

Our international community bring with them a diversity of experience, cultures and passions that bring our extensive, state-of-the-art facilities alive. The original Dover Campus, located west of the CBD near the National University of Singapore, completed a multi-year rejuvenation in January 2016. The East Campus was purpose-built to suit the UWCSEA educational ethos and mission. Located in Tampines, a dynamic and fast-developing northeastern hub near Changi Airport that has grown around the campus since it opened in 2010, the community has already celebrated the graduation of six IB Diploma cohorts.

“The school has a truly diverse community and thrives on both academic and non-academic fields, and all students are encouraged to be involved. ... the school is giving our children a holistic education, not only in academics but also in their social and environmental awareness. They’re exposed to a variety of sports and cultural events, which teach them the value of learning outside the classroom. These myriad opportunities help prepare them for their future lives and careers,”

- Chris Hoet and Suriana Sidik, 2 children at UWCSEA East and 1 UWCSEA East alumnus

“Teachers are warm, knowledgable and frankly amazing and the school community is welcoming. There are many events and opportunities to connect with the school and the larger community. There are frequent forums and workshops for parents, providing insight into the curriculum. It’s an expert-led, research-based and globally informed curriculum. If you’re looking for a school that believes in the power of education and desire for your child to be part of a diverse international community of children, families and staff, this is the one!”

- David and Nicole Nguyen, 2 children in UWCSEA Dover Primary School
