Tanglin Trust School Singapore has a long tradition of providing British-based learning with an international perspective. At Tanglin we strive to make every individual feel valued, happy and successful. Responsibility, enthusiasm and participation are actively encouraged, and integrity is prized. As a not-for-profit school, fees are devoted to the provision of education. We are innovative and forward-thinking, continually keeping our school at the forefront of educational best practice. Our curriculum continually evolves in response to a changing world and we nurture and inspire every individual to be the best they can be. Tanglin’s facilities have transformed over the years as new buildings and the latest technologies have been introduced to support both our student body and the latest learning styles. These include four libraries, two large performance halls, science laboratories, state-of-the-art media technology suites, design and technology suites, future learning classrooms, drama, art and dance studios, a sound-proof music suite, health centres, a university and careers department, and a parent café. Sports facilities include a swimming pool; gymnasium; full size rugby and football pitches; three 5-a-side football pitches; netball, badminton and volleyball courts; and a fitness centre. Working together in a safe, caring yet stimulating environment, we set high expectations whilst offering strong support. High academic standards are a key driving force, however, equally important is developing in students the skills to be lifelong learners and dynamic global citizens. Assessed within the British Schools Overseas (BSO) framework, the Infant, Junior and Senior Schools have each been awarded Outstanding, the highest possible grade

“We’re really happy with Tanglin. The Nursery and Reception teachers we’ve had are experienced and wonderful with pastoral care. Teacher assistants are trusted and well liked by our child too. We find school communications to be clear and love the level of access we have to the teacher and classroom via open sessions, parent volunteer spots and parent teacher conferences.”

“I joined Tanglin in Reception and now I am a proud member of the Year 13 cohort. Although I have always been at Tanglin, I truly believe no other school could have provided me with the sense of belonging that Tanglin excels at. The support I have received from staff and my peers has guided me to achieve highly in my subjects, and it never fails to amaze me how committed and dedicated the teachers are to help me accomplish my best.”
