There are four Senior Boarding Houses and two Junior Boarding Houses, each with a Housemaster or Housemistress, Resident House Tutor, Dame and team of visiting tutors. Boarding offers pupils an opportunity to enjoy the full range of first-class facilities on campus, with supervised prep each evening. A rich programme of structured, recreational and social activities is planned throughout the week, with a variety of clubs on offer which include: sports, drama, art, music and languages. Full, weekly and day boarding is offered from age 9 (Year 5).

The outstanding outdoor facilities include nine grass pitches, 50m swimming pool, junior swimming pool, cricket ground, athletics track, five tennis courts, netball courts, rugby and football pitches and an all-weather pitch for hockey and games. The Sports complex includes a fully-equipped fitness suite, indoor netball, basketball, volley-ball and badminton courts. Adjoining the Sports Hall are four squash courts and an indoor climbing wall.

Other facilities at the College include: three Drama Halls, three Dining Halls, Science Laboratories, Design Technology Centre, Art Studios, Music Rooms, Learning Resource Centre, University Guidance Centre and Medical Centre with 24-hour cover.

“Marlborough College Malaysia (MCM) is an excellent college to entrust our children to a global education nested in Southeast Asia. My son, Caleb, has always liked interacting with different nationalities, and now he has made many MCM friends in Asia, Europe and America. I recommend Boarding because it facilitated Caleb’s leadership to work with teams daily, while he learns to keep boundaries to stay true to self. I hear comments about staff as much as schoolmates when we talk, and I am grateful MCM educators love to nurture, challenge and walk with students in all seasons. Seeing how MCM continues to draw talent, raise standards and contributes back to communities in Johor Bahru makes this a college I am happy to represent, and trust many parents will as well."
