BASE CAMP RV RESORT
For a peaceful stay in a picturesque spot, Base Camp
RV Park is for you. Situated on 10 tree-dotted acres,
the park offers 29 full hook-up sites with six offering
50 amps, and the remainder offering 30, and there is
also a group-tenting area with three fire pits. “We have
shower rooms, a laundry, restrooms, and a small gift
shop that carries locally-made products,” explained
owner Jim Norris.
“We bought the place in 2015 and we’ve been
renovating ever since. It used to be a drive-in theater
so our office and the main building are actually the
former concession stand, and we have converted the
original on-site restaurant into a clubhouse for people
to rent for group events.”
The park is located just a few miles outside of town on
Highway 395 and it is the largest park in the area and
the only one that is strictly an RV park, plus they offer
daily, weekly, and monthly rates.
