Mariner Square in Newport – home of the Oregon Undersea
Gardens, Ripley’s Believe It or Not and The Wax Works. Set
on the bustling causeway lining Newport’s Historic Bay Front
– Mariner Square has long been a favorite destination for
travelers from near and far.
“There is nothing lik e the Oregon Undersea Gardens, which is
the last aquarium left out of 11 originally built in the 1960’s,”
says David Heater, General Manager. You will come face to
face with the excitement, the wonder, the magic and mystery
of the underwater world. Beneath the surface, all manner of
fish swim through our aquatic kelp forest. Amongst ghostly
gardens of white and crimson anemones, the ferocious looking
Wolf eel lurks and sometimes the largest species of octopus
in the world glides the reef. The sea gives up its secrets in our
unique underwater theater. Continuous dive shows are filled
with action and surprises. Expertly narrated by knowledgeable
tour guides, you’ll get to know the stars of this sub-marine
drama. See this one of a kind exhibit while you can in 2015.

sculptures, elaborately molded and detailed to delight our
visitors. Kids and adults alike will enjoy our interactive
exhibits. Want to try karaoke in our You’ve Got Talent exhibit,
or perhaps you would like to be at the console in our Star Trek
exhibit? Please be careful of ending up like Golem in our Lord
of the Rings exhibit or accidentally going into hyper-space
with the Star Wars’ crew!
