Right on the shores of Tillamook Bay off Highway 101, Tillamook is central to Oregon’s dairy industry. A million visitors a
year tour the Tillamook Cheese Factory where they learn about
cheese production, dairy farming, and get to sample many varieties of cheese, including the famous squeaky cheese. Visitors
can enjoy the Dairy Festival and Rodeo in June, North Coast
Seafood Festival and Mayors Ball in October, and Holiday Bazaar in November and December. Outdoors recreation includes
fishing, hiking, boating, and hang-gliding.

Troutdale
Just outside the Gresham-Portland area, this town is situated
at the confluence of the Sandy and Columbia Rivers. Fishing,
wind surfing, wineries, a vibrant downtown, and family parks
are part of the fabric of Troutdale. Annual events include SummerFest in July, Cruise-In in August, and Holiday Open House
the first Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Tualatin
Just ten miles from Portland, this bustling suburban community
has the friendliness of a small town. Visitors will find a vibrant
arts community, such as the summer outdoor concert series as
well as live theater, a popular crawfish festival in August, a Giant
Pumpkin Regatta in October, and Starry Nights and Holiday
Lights in December.

Veronia is halfway between the Oregon coast and Portland, as
well as thirty minutes from the Columbia River. This small community is well known for its Pioneer Museum which is popular
for tourists in the summer months. Likewise, visitors can explore
