ost things in Milton, Ontario—one of the
fastest-growing communities in Canada—
are new. Stores and businesses are cropping
up everywhere.
All Eyes On Me Optical is a relatively new store in town,
but it hasn’t gone unnoticed and already has a reputation
for offering exclusive and high-end brands Miltonians—
and their neighbours in Burlington, Mississauga and
Oakville—won’t be able to find anywhere else.
Sim Bains, the president and owner of All Eyes On
Me Optical and Milton Optometrist, opened his doors
four years ago. The boutique is a trendy space in a
relatively new plaza. The lounge-like atmosphere makes
it feel like you could be shopping for designer jeans.
While Bains just welcomed the launch of the firstever Oliver Peoples Shop-in-Shop in Ontario and he loves
to share the line with his clients, he says many of the
frames don’t suit his own face—and that’s what he and
his staff pride themselves on: finding just the right
frames for every client who walks through their doors.
They don’t just sell great frames, they sell the right frames
for every individual.
With brands like Gucci, Tom Ford, Prada, Paul
Smith, Hugo Boss, Dior, Ray-Ban and many more on
hand, everyone can find a high-end, beautiful pair of
frames and the staff at All Eyes On Me Optical are ready
to help. They take note of customers’ face shapes, hair
colour, eyes, skin, personal style and what they need from
their glasses, then they choose some top picks from there.
Besides the amazing selection and knowledgeable
staff at All Eyes On Me Optical, one of the best things
about the business is how much Bains himself loves
eyewear—he knows every frame front and back and has
probably tried them all on at least once. “We’re exclusive
dealers of a lot of brands,” says Bains, “and we hand-pick
every piece.” He travels around the world to pick each and
every frame and line he sells.
He certainly knows his personal favourites and was
excited to share them. While the Oliver Peoples regular
frames don’t necessarily suit him, Bains can definitely pull
off some of the brand’s sunglasses. He particularly favours
the Kelton, a double-bridge aviator the company describes
as “a sophisticated design perfectly suited for the welldressed man.”

Bains also showed off a pair of dark, square Dita frames
(Bravado). For some colour, he donned Mykita’s Ferdinand
frames in slate blue and some “look at me” frames by J.F.
Rey (JF2340) in bronze with hits of bright green.
Finally, Bains put his own frames back on, a gold and
black combo by Dita called Senator, in matte black and 18k
gold. You would never know Bains has a strong prescription
with these sleek frames, which you may have noticed on
famous faces like Justin Bieber and Drake.
Shopping for the right pair of frames should be fun
and tailored to every customer’s individual needs. All Eyes
On Me Optical takes care of both.
