The agreement is valid for five years, from Jan. 1, 2029 to December 2023. Designed for confident women who love design and attention to detail, the Sportmax sunglass and eyeglass styles created by Marcolin Group have modern and geometric shapes and are distinctive due to the use of a combination of contrasting materials. Building on the brand’s aesthetics, in which sports and fashion influences merge together with tailoring, a collection has emerged that enhances the sense of movement and energy through bold, daring silhouettes. Interplays of textures and material layering define a cohesive and impactful language that perfectly reflects the DNA of Sportmax. The collection will be on sale from April 2019 at selected opticians and in Sportmax and Max Mara boutiques. MOREL, LANCTÔT CREATE MOREL CANADA Morel and Canadian distributor Lanctôt, which specializes in optical and sports gear, recently became partners to form a new subsidiary: Morel Canada. Just like Morel, Lanctôt is a family-owned business. Started in 1953, the company first specialized in distributing sports gear. Lanctôt quickly became the leader in its field, before expanding to optical wear. It’s at this very moment that Lanctôt met Morel: it was the start of their partnership. Being established on the international stage has been deeply rooted in Morel’s DNA since 1880.
