As opera changes with the times,

season 2015, OperaQ presents a
schedule of events that will delight,
surprise and challenge seasoned
opera lovers and first-timers alike.
In 2015 audiences will be able to
experience a range of delights from the
classic La traviata at the Lyric Theatre to
a summer afternoon of opera moments
at Cloudland Bar and Kitchen in the
Valley. In between, there’s Leonard
Bernstein’s contemporary masterpiece
Candide, up close in the Playhouse,
opera outdoors at Jimbour, spectacular
gala nights and a morning of gorgeous
arias with some popular local artists.
And for those who’ve always wanted
to do more than watch, this year
OperaQ introduces a new series of
opera workshops culminating in onstage performances for participants.
