Largest Toyota Store in Canada
OpenRoad Auto Group has broken ground
on what will be the largest Toyota dealership
in Canada. At 205,000 sq.ft., the new
OpenRoad Toyota Richmond will be five
times the size of the current building. The
flagship will be situated at the entrance of
the Richmond Auto Mall directly across the
street from the current location.
“We’re proud of the service we have
provided for forty years since 1978, and
our new facility will ensure that we provide
the best service experience to current and
future customers in the Vancouver area,”
said Christian Chia, dealer principal at
OpenRoad Toyota.
The new store will feature the largest new
vehicle showroom in BC at 15,000 sq.ft.,
enough space to display 36 new vehicles
on two levels. Toyota customers will enjoy
many amenities, including a 12-bay drive-
thru reception service, 30 service bays, four
express service bays, six detail bays, ten
indoor delivery bays, two automatic car
washes, two lounges, a children’s play area,
a full-service café with TVs, and a fireplace.
Environmental highlights include a green
roof, LED lighting, and water collection
system on the car wash.
The new OpenRoad Toyota Richmond will
open in 2019. The current location stays
open throughout construction to fully serve
the needs of Toyota customers.
