The 2018 Range Rover Velar has been awarded Best Small Premium Sport Utility Vehicle for 2018 by AJAC (Automobile Journalists
Association of Canada). Kevin Kullar, general manager of Jaguar Land Rover Langley, said, “It speaks to the quality and innovation of
the new Velar. We’re very excited that this premium SUV has received the most prestigious recognition possible in Canada.”
Last October, Land Rover Langley produced a preview of the first Range Rover Velar. It was an unforgettable evening starting with
the Velars themselves - a Flux Silver First Edition and a Narvik Black R-Dynamic HSE - set against the unexpected backdrop of a
Robinson R44 helicopter. The event was staged at the SKY Hangar in Pitt Meadows, an innovative location for an equally avant garde
vehicle.
Guests enjoyed cutting-edge cuisine, including gin and tonic mini cupcakes and chili Mexican s’mores for dessert, and listened to the
musical stylings of DJ Rachel Sehl of Sunglasses at Night. One lucky guest won a helicopter trip for two with SKY Helicopters, courtesy
of Jaguar Land Rover Langley.
