Club OpenRoad sponsored two driving
clinics this year - winter and summer -
at the BC Driving Centre. There were
400 total participants over two separate
weekends, where participants gained
the opportunity to drive the OpenRoad
fleet of vehicles. Guests were exposed
to winter driving scenarios: skidpad
training, under and oversteering, and
braking in slippery conditions. In the
summer, guests went through braking and
turning exercises, and navigated through
an autocross track to learn valuable safety
lessons.

The 5th Annual Family Day event took place in four regions:
Richmond, Coquitlam, Langley and Burnaby. This year the event
hosted 1,600 OpenRoad customers and their families where, for
the first time...in forever... some communities also welcomed
Disney Princesses Elsa and Anna from the movie, Frozen.

Club OpenRoad hosted its 2nd annual Hockey Night for
members of Lexus Port Moody, Mazda Port Moody, and Toyota
Port Moody. More than 1,000 family and friends cheered the
BCHL Junior A club, the Coquitlam Express, at the Poirier
Sport & Leisure Complex. Club OpenRoad’s Hockey Night
featured a shoot-to-win contest where five lucky participants had
the chance to win a new car from the OpenRoad Port Moody
stores.
