In the world of finance,
first impressions are
paramount. A successful
business wardrobe conveys
professionalism, integrity and
structure. Being in a servicebased industry like wealth
management, consistency
reinforces credibility. For
RBC Dominion Securities
Investment advisor, Jerry
Basran, his innate sense of
style is an interpretation of
his professionalism.
What do you do for work?
I am an investment advisor. I am
fortunate to have an excellent team, which
enables me to provide top-level wealth
management services and investment
advice. I work with my clients to balance
risk with opportunity, while continually
looking for new growth potential.
What types of clients do you work
with?
My clients include established business
owners, professionals, families, as well as
non-profit organizations, institutions and
corporations.
What other activities and
organizations are you a part of?
My wife Pauline and I have always believed
that contribution is an important part of
life and we make it a priority. We also try
to instil this value into our children. As
a family we volunteer our time at local
events and at my children’s school. I also
lend my support to several local charities
and organizations. I’m proud to say I have
been involved with the Surrey Memorial
Hospital Foundation as a campaign
executive for the SMH emergency centre,
collectively raising over $450,000 over five
years.
