CONCLUSIONS
The majority of parliamentarians surveyed appear to use most ICTs and have a very positive view of these tools overall. Email and social networking are highly rated, with blogs being the least utilized and least positively viewed. No clear trend emerges regarding what improvements would be most useful in improving the use of digital technologies. The majority of respondents selected multiple options for this answer, suggesting a range of improvements should be made.
The data obtained from this survey provides a point of reference for the development of future programming on social and digital media in parliaments, which will allow ParlAmericas to better serve its membership.
