SENECA PARTNERS DIRECTOR STEVE CHARNOCK DRIVES RUSTY OLD BANGER IN CHARITY CHALLENGE Seneca Director Steve Charnock has completed the 1,000 mile 'Rusty Rally' drive in a £500 car to raise funds for the Outward Bound Trust, the educational charity that uses the outdoors to help develop young people from all walks of life. Steve took on the challenge of driving through 7 countries in 3 days, navigating some of the world’s most famous driving roads, high mountain passes, rugged coastlines and spectacular bridges. SUPPORTING STARS OF SPORT Seneca were well represented at The Open Championships sponsoring Paul Howard on his Open debut. The 25 year old who turned professional last year, qualified for The Open at Hillside Golf Club in Southport. Despite just sneaking in Paul, made it through the first day with a creditable 73. HONOURS FOR BOB HOLT Seneca Non-Executive Director Bob Holt received his OBE from the Queen in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace. As well as enjoying great success as founder and chairman of services business Mears Group, Bob has established the Footprints Foundation to support youth charities in the UK and Africa. Seneca has expanded into new offices. The new recruits in trade finance, investment and property finance have required a doubling of the space at Seneca's HQ in Haydock.
