SENECA AT THE DOUBLE
Seneca Partners won two awards at the Insider North West Dealmaker
Awards. The evening held in October 2016 was hosted by television
presenter Mark Durden-Smith at Manchester Central.

Seneca were awarded top honours in the esteemed categories of Alternative
Finance Provider of the Year and Deal of The Year (sub £10m).
Richard Manley, Managing Partner, said: “The awards reflect our growing
offering to SMEs in both debt and equity finance. It is great to have such
a prestigious awards night recognise the quality and hard work of the
team. It was particularly pleasing to win the deal of the year award for our
investment in to food packaging specialist, Foodpack. The company had
experienced difficulties and the investment by Seneca was completed in a
short-time scale, ensuring the business would continue to trade. We helped
secure the jobs of its 150 staff.”
The efficient implementation of the deal stood out to the judges who
commended the creativity of the Seneca team in implementing EIS equity
alongside debt financing. The deal truly evidenced the strength of Seneca
and how the creative funding solutions available in-house can be combined
to best benefit an SME.
