WELCOME WELCOME TO THE ONSHORE ENERGY CONFERENCE LONDON 2016 Welcome to the first Onshore Energy Conference. After 9 very successful years of the London Power Forum, the event has been refreshed and rebranded and now incorporates Oil and Gas, and Construction alongside our original area of Power. We hope you will find that the agenda provides valuable sessions in each area that meet the technical training aspirations that the conference has as the core mission, as well as plenary sessions that apply to all 3 practice areas. We also welcome you to our new venue at the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre. The fact that we can use such an esteemed venue is testament to the success and reach of the conference as it aims to be the premier conference for Onshore Energy. The first Onshore Energy Conference –Dubai was held in May and attracted 150 delegates from many countries in the region with the next one happening in April 2017. All information in this publication is correct at time of press. We have a vast array of speakers today from a variety of disciplines which we hope reflect the extensive market research we undertook in assembling the agenda. We finish the day with some thoughts from Lord Daniel Finkelstein, who will be well known to many of you, and will be able to provide some views and commentary on the changing political climate.
