Daniel has been
with MDD Forensic

years and worked
in the firm’s
London, Hong Kong, Japan and
Thailand offices before relocating to
open and manage the firm’s Dubai
office, based in the Dubai
International Financial Centre
(DIFC) in 2013.
Since moving to the region,
Daniel has been involved in a
number of high-profile, high-
value Business Interruption,
Contingent Business Interruption
and Delay in Start-Up (DSU/ALOP)
claims throughout the Middle
East, Africa and Central Asia. Specifically, within the Energy
sector, Daniel has advised Loss
Adjusters, Insurers and Reinsurers
on the quantification of economic
losses in a number of industries
including: power generation
(including desalination), refining,
petrochemicals and manufacturing.
Daniel was promoted to
Partner in January 2017.

He has been based in Dubai
since 2007, where he was tasked
with setting up and running the
Energy placement team. He has
been extremely influential in the
development of that market, seeing

capacity in 2007 to over $2,500m
today. As head of energy market
placement, he set and executed the strategies for construction,
upstream, downstream, liability
and political violence accounts.
He has also developed the hub
into an extremely successful
wholesale placement resource for
global accounts in addition to the
retail work for regional clients.
He now leads the Energy
team in Dubai responsible for
MENA business, overseeing
placement, client service,
engineering and operations.

the MENA region.
He has been
with Marsh since 2002 having
joined on the graduate scheme.
He spent five years working in
London as a specialist on the
Onshore placement team. During
this time he was heavily involved
in a diverse range of global
downstream business. Additionally
he was responsible for placing all
