Create Duplicate Detection Rules
Now enter the details for the rule:
▪ Give it a name such as “Contacts with same
email address”
▪ Choose the entity this will apply to from the
Base Record Type
▪ Choose the entity that you’ll be comparing
the base record type against from the
Matching Record Type
▪ Determine if this should be case sensitive.
▪ Then choose the criteria for detecting the
matching record (exact match, etc.)
