One USQ Connectivity & Experience Projects - Activity Report June 2016 | Page 4

One USQ Experience Project The One USQ Experience project (1UEP) has been operating since 2015, and so far we have delivered a mix of strategic, practical and innovative outcomes for the University. As the ‘One USQ’ name demands, my personal approach and aspiration as Project Manager is to foster and develop real and tangible collaborations across USQ, to create opportunities for participation in project initiatives, and to improve communication of completed and planned project outcomes. On that note, this Activity report is something new we are trying and Duane Roth Project Manager One USQ Experience I would be keen to hear any feedback you may have on either the report format or the information contained within. It is filled with links to resources now available for your use, as well as information on what is coming next. Our focus for the next year (which you can read more about in this report) will be to lead initiatives relating to the USQ staff and student online user experience; technology support and innovation; and institutional use of data and analytics. One USQ Experience project staff are a talented group of professionals I am proud to work with on a day-to-day basis. They, as I, hope you feel comfortable asking us questions, providing ideas and feedback, and helping drive project work forward. There’s certainly a lot to get done, and I look forward to working with you to achieve some great things for us all here at USQ! WHAT NEXT? The next year of the One USQ Experience project promises to be as busy and productive as the first! Some of the exciting things coming up include: • • • • • • • 2 Another round of Student Tech Bytes and StaffEd in Semester 2 Exploration and development of more u-Guides and other technology training materials for staff Co-ordination and development of institutional analytics roadmap and developing our institutional data management practices. Preparation and execution of more Technology Demonstrators across Semester 2.
