2016 Student Technologies Video Digital Intern
I am currently a 2nd year student at USQ, and my experience as a Digital
Intern within the One USQ Experience project has been both rewarding
and challenging. My work includes assembling videos for Technology
Demonstrators, as well as researching new technologies. Positioned
within the Online
Marketing team
I have had the
advantage of being surrounded by an
amazing group of creatives, which has
been an ideal environment to work on
video and other visual projects. Earlier in
the year I had the opportunity to work on
the ICT Teaching Space UGuide which was
a great opportunity to work with more of
the ICT team!

In February 2016, I began my
job within the Online Marketing
Team working for ICT, as one of
their Capital Project Employees.
To say that I have learnt a lot and
have had the greatest experience
wouldn’t be an understatement!
The experience that I have had over the last 4 months has
been fantastic, not to mention the networks and people
I’ve had the joy of meeting.
Working for ICT is not only interesting but satisfying. The
main reason why I am enjoying my internship so much
is because of the fact that I get to stand on my own two
feet, suggest my own ideas for upcoming promotions and
events, and the fact that there is always something new to
learn and do.
