19 Bracken Hill View Horbury Wakefield WF4 6FD [email protected] Est. 1992 www.shelfjuniors.co.uk Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Matthew Till and I Manage/Coach Shelf Juniors U15’s, a Football Club that was formed in 1992. The club was originally set up to give the children of Shelf something else to do apart from hang around in the local park. We now have teams ranging from Soccer Tots for children under 7 through to an open age team. All our teams play in the Huddersfield District League and between them have won a number of league titles and cups. All the Managers and coaches are volunteers and we are a non-profit organisation. Although the club has been around for 20 years we continually find it difficult to find sponsor’s for football equipment such as kits, footballs or training equipment so we have to hold Gala days or sponsored activities to raise money for the club, but as I’ am sure you are aware this can be very difficult, relying on the generosity of the public. We also have a number of Twitter pages that we are using to try and raise awareness of the football club for new players and to communicate with other club members. This is my reason for writing to you; I was hoping you could in some way assist by providing some sponsorship for Shelf Juniors. Sponsorship help will enable us to buy the necessary equipment that will assist all ages through the club to continue development in the game and help them fulfil their personal aspirations. With this we can then continue to provide a quality club for young children and adults to participate in. Myself, the manages/coaches and other club officials within Shelf Juniors have a strong belief that we provide good quality football for the children, not only in Shelf but also from the surrounding areas. Assisting in any way will only continue the development, helping the club thrive and hopefully see some young children fulfilling their dreams to be picked up by a professional club. Anything you could provide would be a massive help and we would be very grateful as a football club. I luck forward to hearing from you and hopefully you can assist in our development. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. Yours Sincerely Matthew Till Manager/Coach Shelf Juniors Football Club 1
