Training sees all the basics covered, then on to more advanced sessions which I feature Rondo's and freedom of play.

Run by Head Coach Ben Crump, Assistant Kevin Breeze and keeper coach Grant Williams-Hindle. The lads have all progressed well with some having had experiences of training with Aston Villa, West Brom, Wolves, Stoke City and Crewe Alexander.

This summer will see the Colts take part in two national tournaments starting with the Britannia Stadium tournament in May and the Keele Cup on August.

The team are part of 2014 Shropshire Junior Club of the Year, Shrewsbury Juniors, a team that features teams ranging from Crèche to U17 catering for both boys and girls.

"Last summer none of the team knew each other. They were strangers but three have gone to create a team that enjoys, learns and loves football.

"We have big things planned for the future, not only in our team but as a club on a whole.

"With the ideas we have coaching our team and helping them learn, we hope they can use not only the football element, but the social, enjoyment, challenging and for-filling moments in later life."

Shrewsbury Juniors Colts have had a successful season so far, focusing on the development of each player, whilst also developing a team style based on Barcelona's possession based methods.
